TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Tucson ranks as one of the top 25 places to retire, according to CNNMoney.
A recent article ranks communities based on several amenities for the post-work crowd, including cost of living.
In Arizona the prices of homes have fallen drastically.
While that's bad for most homeowners, CNNMoney says it's a plus for those who're retiring and looking for a retirement home in a warm climate.
In Tucson, retirees can find a house with a pool and view for less than $200,000.
Among the many, now-affordable retirement destinations in the state, Tucson scores big for livability.
CNNMoney points to 350 days a year of sunshine, more than two dozen championship golf courses and a number of historic places to explore.
It also highlights hiking and biking trails that criss-cross the mountains and skiing at Mount Lemmon.
Some of the other "best places" to retire include Lake Charles, Louisiana and Weatherford, Texas.
